I've offered measured support for our learned friend this weekend and I'm not about to withdraw it because I have some sympathy for what he is saying (without agreeing completely), but the whole argument seems to be repeating and repeating and not getting anywhere.
There are two very strong arguments here and I see NO sign that either party is prepar o disagree here and go back to talking about 'five moments that shook sport' or something.
I think we've made our point resoundingly and I think many have already begun to moderate their posts.
I'm not saying we need to live in a ginger bread house, just that we need to be aware that when we post something, it's availalbe for everyone and anyone who comes into this public forum, including many children.
And based on the numbr of PMs I've received, a lot of people agree with me.
