The post that was quoted here has been removedI have a huge widescreen, but I have to scroll down a lot more than I did before. No biggie, we desktop users have to expect the small devices to get improvements at our expense. I'm already used to it anyway, after a week playing on the beta site.
There are lots of little things to dislike, and lots of little things to like, in every device format, but any real problems should be fixed quickly. The only moaners so far are iPeople. 🙂

It is hard to reassure people when a big change lands like this, but I have been using both site versions in parallel for a couple of months - and really disliked using the previous site for day to day activity eventually.
So please allow time.
I couldn't even find menu options until I turned the phone on the side (well, one the side from how I usually hold the phone while surfing). Annoying to have to turn the phone all the time.
Done whining now. I sure hope I can get used to this.
Oh, and how can I edit my forum settings now? Genius makes little sense without the accompanying location, which apparently doesn't display anymore.
