I would like to start a thread where we post links to quality internet (youtube, etc.) presentations of songs you would like to share. Some songs are great and don't have an accompanying video and that is just fine. Video accompaniment is not required.
The keys to successful submissions, recommendations, and posts are:
* quality sound (360p bare minimum, 720p+ is the goal)
* introduce us to obscure music that we will want to add to our playlist
* the song should be unique
* provide positive feedback when warranted so if the poster has more music like the one you enjoy, he/she can introduce you to more of it
* keep it legal and don't post links to downloads
* have fun and be civil 🙂
On another board I've been on for about 10 years, there's a thread like this and it's full of musical gems and is the longest running thread on the entire board by far. Everyone loves music and most people want to share their discoveries!

A buddy of mine wrote this one for the group. Pretty well put together, if I don't say so myself!

It's a good one. The only critique and it boils down to personal taste with me in the minority, is that Sigvardsson has a very Bjorkish-Sinead O'Connorish voice that is not up my alley. But great work on the song, the video. Nice build up at 1:09, I always enjoy that.
Originally posted by Grampy BobbyIt's about quality of video. Surely you know what 720p, 1080p, etc. means in relation to TVs. Well, the higher the quality of video on youtube, also the higher quality the sound. A 240p video not only is going to look fuzzy, it's going to sound fuzzy too.

Please exposit the technical meaning in non-technical terms.

This one is as much about the video as it is the song. Actually it's 2 songs put together. The video is interesting to watch all the way through, even if the song doesn't do it for you.
I have a special liking to this video because--for reasons I won't disclose here--I have a very similar demeanor about me when relationships (of all kinds) end abruptly. He repeats in the 2nd half of the video about a complete lack of grief, though he is supposed to be feeling it. I can relate, totally.
The singer is a heavy smoker and nowadays he has large, thick black circles around his eyes. But the women go crazy for him.
