Why?
Several reasons... driving one was to curb my early morning creative spasms and late night lonely enthusiasm for initiating unecessary and

subliminally self serving threads. Figured this beach landscape would provide a place to go without contaminating the general environment.

Thanks for asking. -gb πŸ™‚

I assume you are speaking about spin-off threads. Well, Grampy, personally I think it's because many people, simple or otherwise, find humour in parody and the spin-off thread is parody in its basest form - arguably more so than the raspberry or the ol' repeat everything you say playground joke.
Thanks for the perspective. Hoping you'll still comment on "T-Dot".

I tried that and you unleashed a six pack of whoop a$$ on me with threats of taking me out.

All I was going to say was, patriotism sounds like bloody hard work to me and if you feel stronger about patriotism than you do for your family (who I assume you love a hell of a lot), then you have created even more hard work on your plate, I feel ill when I have to cut grass or clean windows bugger worrying about my country.

But, I never got the chance due to the total beating you dished out.

Okay, Woodgie, maybe became overly impassioned in a weak moment. Let's agree to truce past posts,

pick up our flaps, go around and approach the landing area again. If not Patriotism... What?

P.S. Any chance there's a measure of hyperbole with the "unleashed" and "taking me out"
wording in this post? Appreciate your tenacity. -gb πŸ™‚
