Here it’s lasagne...fresh tomatoes, included. Grated Parmasean, mozzarella slices, a splash of red wine and garlic as you please...

Simmering for hours and then building the craft...

Tomorrow’s dinner...

Prawns are currently defrosting on my foot, tomorrow will make a sauce with peppers, cream, garlic and olive oil to have with the pasta and prawns.

That would go so well with the lasagne...

what wine would you pair with the prawns?

No surprise. Stick to deep fried haggis in chocolate sauce.

Last night it was wholemeal pasta with my home grown organic steamed chard and a cheese sauce with a hint of nutmeg. I’d have loved a glass of dry white wine but my body reacts to the tiniest amount making me feel really crap and lethargic the following day.

I like to stick to the same drink all night. But:
It's weird because wherever I go they always run out of whatever I happen to be drinking. Bars, hotels, airplanes, (before lockdown) private houses.
Now I just ask for what they have the most of.
Works for me.

I have recently changed my name to Sandy McTavish.
So bring it on with copious amounts of Tennents.
