I would go to a Spanish country, if I were you. Go to Venezuela or Cuba or so.

if i was going to go and live in a spanish specking country it would be peru, without question.

but i need to go somewhere with a stronger currency. it would be impossible to save anything in peru.

i'd love to visit venezuela though, it looks lovely.

Just so you know, asking that might in violation of the TOS:

"While a life is in progress you may not be assisted by a third party, but you may reference travel books amd databases consisting of testimonials of previous expatriates and other pre-existing research materials."

Tell us the things you most dislike about the country you're in, then you might even get some relevant suggestions from people in countries where those difficulties don't exist.

the weather, the people, the over charging of EVERYTHING, the weather, the government, the language.

been thinking america, if only for a year. but what state?

edit: new news on the weather front - it just started snowing (again) but this time there's already snow on the ground and there's no wind. crap.

language difference would mean, portugal, italy and greese being out. a friend of mine recently moved to spain and she's having trouble finding a job. fair enough i have a profession that travels better than hers but i'm not sold on spain to be honest.

Well, if you're considering the States, but you hate the weather you're already experiencing, that rules out about two-thirds of the U.S.. Disliking the people you're dealing with knocks out about six or seven more states. Being overcharged puts Florida, California and Nevada out of the running.

That pretty much leaves Georgia, specifically Savannah. Gorgeous city with plenty of antebellum architecture and great people.

i've been to florida and you're right i won't be putting that state on my list.

i wouldn't mind some snow as long as there's a hot summer and not a lot of rain.

Languages can be learned or you can find work in English (which is, of course, a bit harder).

What field is your profession in?
