Come on Mike. If we can't laugh about someone dying, what can we laugh about?

? 😲

We all know she had a rough time from Bobby, and was probably encouraged to take drugs in the first place, by him. Jeez, they'd barely been married for a year, and she filed for domestic abuse.

I just don't find this particular sort of passiveness funny.

Ok. I joked about it too! Some sod is likely to start creating jokes about her, so let's get the jokes out of the way. She had a darned hard time, and I do think she is a big loss. A person who didn't meet her true potential.

May be we should have a laugh and talk about our own death, before it happens?

She never hurt anybody, but herself.

She was hurt, and abused though. That's quite clear.

May she rest in peace now.

I have often wondered what amount of time has to pass after someone's death, for jokes about it to be 'acceptable'. I remember Princess Diana had been gone for a couple of months before I heard any jokes about her. In Michael Hutchence's and Jill Dando's case it was more like a week. Now with Whitney, the corpse has not even gone cold and the jokes are coming out.
Death is often joked about as it is our way of dealing with subjects we feel uncomfortable about. I personally wouldn't be bothered about people joking about my death as long, as it was not in a nasty way. Other people may feel differently.
So the question is, is it acceptable to joke about other people passing and how long is a respectable amount of time before having a good old chuckle about it.

Um, that is your Frank Burns swinging....well, dangling there....actually hanging limply
and so small, you can't see it without a microscope.

Not to worry though...the wife still says....

She hurt my ears a lot.

Not enough for me to be happy that she's dead, but enough for me to contradict the predictable sanctification.

Yeah, she's dead, and that's not good. But ffs, no matter what the luvvies say, she was not a good singer. Could have been, sure. But she chose to sing painful pap. Stop pretending that everybody thought she was good.
