Many of you are generals in the General Forum but have zero/no contributions in the Chess Forum. Hands up to those who fall in this category.
Is it a coincidence that many of the recommended posts are non-chess related?
Most of us have many things going on in our lives, and we all have the right to choose how much or little we talk about each of those things. I am really sorry to discover that your life revolves solely around chess, but don't try and force your issues onto others.

One wonders how and where they learned their stuff and how they keep their "skills" up to date. But then again considering that some of these folk have several hundred games in progress perhaps chess is the last thing on their minds.
Who after all pays money to join a golf club, gets several hundred games going and then goes to the lounge to discuss politics? Why not join a political club?
Lemme apologise for my old-fashioned views but this cart-before-the-horse-generation simply scares me.

*News just in - a dangerous convict has escaped from Wormwood Scrubs and was seen heading in the direction of the General Forum. Do not approach as they are extremely dangerous but call the local police station.
hehe hehe...

Perhaps you should lose the condescending attitude and try it before you carry on offending everyone who uses the General Forum.

DOOMED!
how can you count the number of someone's posts on a specific forum btw?

I can't help wondering why someone so obsessed with chess doesn't have a subscription here?
- did not allow books or databases
- had an interface as good as PlayChess (ability to save games automatically to see mistakes later)
I would be the first subscriber.
