Agreed. Rap=Urghh! 😞
The most awful thing I heard the other day was a [apparently popular] British girl trying to sound like a US rapper - it was effin ridiculous, and horrible.
I bet you cant even clap a rhythem
Well I like hip hop, rap, R&B,
Kanye West, Jamie Foxx, Usher, Chris Brown, 50 Cent, Ludacris,...

rap and hip hop blow, not even music, really, just vulgar nonsense with a lot of profanity, extolling a thuggish lifestyle, making heros out of low life morons who'll never do anything but bounce in and out of prison.
R&B's good.
Some music historians allege that the first rap song recorded was "Trouble Every Day" on Freak Out! by Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention. I like that song, and the album that it's on.
Classic R&B is good, but the most popular contemporary artists irritate me. I suspect my age shows here, but I am fairly confident in my belief that Sam Cooke offered originality, while Destiny's Child offers uninspired imitation.

You can hear it without listening to it.
What your doing is watching a film with closed eyes
