This "commercial" garbage they have out right now, no. Well, not all of it anyway. I'm tired of hearing about "I'm a thug", "I get ***ches and smoke trees" and all that. Give me SUBSTANCE! I agree with the poster who said that underground hip hop is what's it.

Mos Def, Ras Kass, Canibus, Joe Budden, Royce Da 5'9.....those are all great lyricists to me. If you can actually give me something other than the norm, I'll buy your material.

Royce da 5' 9? Hes trash. Much better is Jay-Z or Raekwon or Eminem lyric-wise
