it is also at the peak of my previous surge as you have pointed out. At the point when i was just about giving up... after which i crashed out 40-50 games.
If EVER anyone had an excuse to play badly it would surely be just before a major time out occurence.

Do I need to go through your entire game history looking for games you have messed up in... maybe around about feburary when you rating dropped?
Actually i dont have the time... could you point out a couple of likely contenders to help me out?

1. Someone accused me out of the blue.
2. They then point me to a thread that indicated that others were discussing me.
3. My sudden rating increase had to be explained.
4. I could either:-
a. Ignore my accuser and his mates... a sure sign of guilt??
b. Argue with my accuser privately - which i did to start with and a length, to no firm conculsion. Then argue will all his mates and thus conduct a more general but still private arguement. Though it seemed to me the evidence they based their accusation on was pretty much solely to do with my steep rating increase and thus i as at a loss to know how to defend myself as I was convicted before i typed a single character in my defence.
c. Tell him to freak off and leave me alone. (Definetly a sign of guilt you would probably say)
d. Recuit allies that know what they are talking about to look at my games and confirm i am not cheating ( or at least as that other chap put it 'they can find no fish in my pond' at this time).
I chose (d). If this public declaration failed or the game mods took me silently in the night then that would be the end of it once and for all.
If my accusers (the other secret police force) had the balls to pm me and lay down sarcastic comments in another thread how long before they would openny accuse me?? It would not go away until I engineered a rating drop (then they would just say i planned this as well).
Nope I dont want to play in fear of a potential row and think everytime i make a move is it time to drop a game so i 'fit in' and look normal.
I am putting a lot of effort into my games now and the way and order i play games (the easiest ones first) I dont want to waste my evenings with the sword of cheataclease hanging over me.
I might as well give up and go to another site.
So i decided do or die!!!

Your amater pychology really does not consider the full range of options and thoughts.
It does NOT follow that the guilty speak out and the innocent keep quiet or visa versa.
Frankly your throw away comment shows you to be completely lacking empathy and any understanding of human nature. It makes you even more pathetic that you would make a jusdgement call on something even less certain then that which my accusers chose.

Well,regarding the game where I was involved I must admit that I played pretty badly and careless,I guess it didn't need an engine or whatever,however it makes a very odd comparison with the game where the guy gets schoolmated ...well........it speaks for itself.......
With some of us, chess is a recreation and does not necessarily take precedence over our lives. Hence it is not imperative that we search high and low for the best possible move.
