if you can get a map and can find Lake Superior. Timmins should be clearly marked to the northeast of the lake. We are about 220km west of that city of about 25 000 (i think). Chapleau probably won't show up.

75, 000 between Lake Superior and Lake Huron.
You want an example of how boring it is here:
How many times have you seen a car accident? When there was a huge wreck at on our main street 2 years ago, almost the entire town came to see the fire department use the Jaws of Life to pull two men from the wreck. There was a good 200 people all over the parking lots and on the sidewalk. The most interesting part was that the wreck happened at about 1:30am. I was there, along with my family. You would think that most people are sleeping at that time, nope, even too boring here for that!
Another story: The Great Blaze of 99, a massive forest fire was about 11 km outside of the town and people set up lawn chairs and RV's to watch the thick black smoke. We even had a picture of the crowd in our newspaper. All bushplanes were grounded and travel was restricted to west-bound traffic. I don't know too many people out of town who leave their house for most of the day to watch smoke.

Bummer.
Even at 1.30 am.
I can smoke at work...
But I'm not at work now... so I'll go outside for a smoke...

The point is that you can't even smoke near other people in buildings to pass the boredom here.
Watch it, your country may pick up on the smoke-free laws, too.
