When you say androgeny appears to be on an increase do you mean that women are becoming psychologically more like men or men like women? Either way this shift could possibly be due to changes in societal influence, ie, eradication of the typical working class male / breadwinner attitude.
Hi again Eric. That's what I love about my single status, the fact you can do whatever you want without being given a guilt trip about it. Like for example my ex had some really weird ideas, for example, he would try to ban me from reading novels because according to him they were not educational, and so every time I read one on the sneak I felt guilty. But now I read tons and tons of novels and feel good about it. The other thing that was weird is that he didn't want me to get along really well with my family and friends as he thought that I only owe my family and friends civility and nothing more. I didn't agree with that though and wouldn't do what he wanted. He didn't like that but oh boy. Oh well lol.

He is really a weirdo and thats what I would call him. And most important, I sincerely pray and hope for you that may happiness, come to you always. By the way, there is nothing wrong with reading novels. In fact it will improve your knowledge of languages as there are different novels in different languages.

And I never saw anything wrong in reading novels either before I met him and I don't know but I think because there was an age gap between us of 22 years that I thought he knew more than me but I see now that he was just being really controlling. 19Whitebut I find it often-in my chess tourney, there were 26 entrants, and I was one out of 2 girls. We were also the only girls in our entire chess club. I think it might be because chess isn't really what you'd consider "cool". Means a) girls are usually more obsessed with what other people think of them, and b) there are are lot more male geeks, who wouldn't qualify as cool anyway, so they might as well join a chess club. Boy, some people don't know what they're missing, I love my chess club, and I couldn't care less what people think about me 😉

I'd like to have a game with you but you will have to be patient with me because apparently there is an etiquette to be followed here and since I'm new I'm not quite sure what that is, but just let me know if by mistake I am not following the etiquette properly. Like if I don't resign when I should or something like that. Thanks Eric. Oh and by the way I want to let you know as well that I was at my mother's place over the weekend to mind her cat as she was away, and she had the Internet so that's why I was on for hours at a time sometimes. Now that my mother's come back I've actually gone home and don't have the net connected, so I have to go to the library to check out redhotpawn and my emails and since I have been really sick with this stupid cold which has hung around for a week or so, I haven't actually been able to check the net since Tuesday. I usually come up every day though to check the net though or at least every two days. Okay thanks Eric
