Nobody paid any attention to it. No one believed it. No one was taken in. No one said anything. Except Ponderable who immediately pointed out that I was playing chess and chatting with him, and with several other people too. In what way were you "disgusted", Earl of Trumps?

I don't think anyone was "spooked" during those few minutes before Ponderable pointed out that I was playing chess as usual. Nor was anyone was "spooked" when it was claimed I was being brought back to life with the aid of a brain transplant - which did nothing to improvevmy chess, by the way - in divegeester's basement.

I could never figure out why all the fuss, as you clearly were making moves. I read somebody's dead, I immediately check their last move time, it's automatic. Otherwise I'd be constantly reacting to nonsense. Doesn’t everyone automatically fact-check these days? Clearly not.
