I like that guy a LOT!

Oh. Whew.

I see that my hard drive is full. I did a little this and that (delete temporary files, etc) and got it down to 69.4 GB.

What do I need to get rid of? My biggest game is only like 4 GB (Oblivion). I want to clear out my hard drive, but I don't know what's taking up all that space!
Try defragging your hard drive...that might clear up some space

Defrag does not free up space, as far as I know.
It frees up contiguous space.

Use something like CCleaner. It's very small and works pretty well. It also helps you identify and uninstall more programs than the Windows tool allows.
Oooh, been after something like that for ages! Cheers 😀

Defrag will free up some space as you will definitely have duplications of some data. How much space this will free up is probably not that great but it'll definitely speed up the machine. Does anyone know of any free software defrags that you can download? I know there was one for NT, just wonder if there is an improved one for XP? The windows one is SLOOOOOOOOOW!

Auslogics Defrag is what I'm using now. Very quick and most importantly - free.

The number of files and folders keeps increasing, and very quickly! Why?!
How big is your harddrive?
You should have always 20% free space and at least 2GB of RAM. Vista requires a minimum of 4GB od RAM.
