Alright, I see. Post inflammatory nonsense and call it fact, not opinion, then tell those who disagree to find the stats. How shocking, coming from an immature twit with road rage.
I'm not the only one arguing, you refuse to believe what I say just as much as I refuse to believe what you say. I don't care if you agree with me or not, so why should I find stats for you? I'd be just as happy if you guys stopped posting stupid links about insurance rates. As for road rage, speeding doesn't mean I have road rage. In fact, the only time I've encountered it was from some mom in a minivan who apparently thought I was following too closely - so I gave her the 10 car lengths that she seemed to want.
Bottom line is that accidents happen, ACCIDENTS. Its not like men or women going around ramming into other cars or poles or whatever they smash into on purpose. If they did, they would be called "on purposes" i suppose.
Even though I have always cursed women drivers, I think it really boils down to the individual behind the wheel, not their gender
Originally posted by cmsMasterAgreed, that's why it's illegal to talk on your phone while driving. This law is broken all the time, by both men and women. Since women seem to be better (statistically) at multitasking, one should expect that it effects them less, so a multitasking female driver is probably better than a multitasking male driver, but worse than a female or male driver focussing only on the driving. I don't know if there are any statistics about how many women talk on the phone while driving and how much of the time, compared to men. My impression from own experience is that male busdrivers talk more while driving - either on the phone or to passengers - than female busdrivers, but there aren't all that many female busdrivers, so my sample isn't very big.
Multitasking isn't something to be doing when you're controlling a 3000+ pound vehicle.

I'm not sure talking on a cell phone while driving is actually illegal in Ohio, I'd need somebody to confirm that. From the number of people that do my guess would be no. I can agree with your comments, whenever I try to change the song number on a CD, or multitask in any way my driving gets pretty shaky.

I'm done with this thread now though, I won't even bother reading the various death threats I'm bound to receive for mentioning a woman's period.
Originally posted by cmsMasterIn Norway, it's illegal unless you use a handsfree. You wouldn't guess that when seeing how many people use normal cellphones, though. That law is rather stupid, as the main problem is not that you can't use both hands, but that you are distracted, so it doesn't help much to use a handsfree.
