True story: We were dating, back in the day. I was quite the pool player and was in a bar in Dallas, Texas taking money left and right from some of the bar regulars. After winning a couple of hundred bucks and getting ready to leave after one more game with a guy bellowing "double or nothing", as I lined up to break I sensed movement behind me followed by a dull thud.
Turns out the guy was getting set to sucker punch me when my then-girlfriend-destined-to-be-wife clobbered him with her beer mug.
We hurriedly split but before we even got to the car I knew she was the One For Me.
