Exactly so! (the ship from Star Trek)

[edit: now I see that if someone were to search for "symbol for Uranus" a lot of the image results would show curved lines at the sides instead of straight ones -- I was not familiar with that curved-line variation -- sorry about that!]

I was thinking of a U boat, a submarine.


I knew nothing about Star Trek. My guess involved looking at a word with a lot of Es and thinking about space generally.

Even more surprising that you guessed correctly at all.

How was I to know that some designers would flood the image searches with curvy, obscuring "improvements" on the symbol that I had remembered?

And also let's not forget that some of us outside the Dominion were completely clueless about a recent poser that involved "Benny Bunions" or whatever his name was. 😉
