How many people are stuck at work bored today?

I'm at work today. And probably a half day tomorrow. Heaps of work, family the other side of the world, & the climate of an arctic winter, does not make my inclined to celebrate.

I will work some today and it has always been a special day for me to work as it will most likely be the very last Christmas my hospice patients will have and as you can imagine it can be full of emotion and reflection. They always have something to teach me about the temporary nature of life and relationships. So while I may work, I am blessed. Merry Christmas all. Kirk

As a church organist and choir director, you bet I am working today, and hard. And tomorrow.

Those in England (and elsewhere) might be happy to know that the Christmas anthem (Shepherds
loud your praises singing) is by your buddy, Alec Rowley.

I am working today, but only for 3 hours and of those 2 playing chess. I did take the shift so I can be off on Monday and Tuesday next week! I took my kids to the grandparents, so I and my wife are free until Friday when we are going back to sunny Miami!
It is actually the first time when the kids are not with us during the Christmas, so I have my wife for all myself!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I am retired so no work. Family coming from Ak. Mo. Tx and Az. over snowy roads. They all made it here to Oklahoma. Peace and good health to all Christmas or no Christmas.
