I primarily read fantasy, so that is what you'll see on my list.
1. The 5th sorceress by Robert Newcomb. I just don't know how to describe this other beyond worthless.
2. Terry brooks - Sword of Shanara trilogy. A complete rip of of LotR, and poorly done to boot.
3. The veil of a thousand tears - Eric Van Lusterbaden. The characters are so transparent as to be annoying. They all have their niche in the storyline and when the author tries to explain the reason behind their emotion I just laugh as it's always a juvenille explanation. I have never related less to any character than those in this book.
Paretti, This Present Darkness
LaHaye and Jenkins, Left Behind and all the sequels
and almost every book that sells well in the USA

My school books were pretty bad.
Certainly, almost every textbook ever published in any subject is only marginally better than the Left Behind series.
