1. "Sorry honey, but your sister and I are in love."
2. "Sorry honey, but your mother and I are in love."
3. "Sorry honey, but your father and I are in love."
4. Sorry honey, but your dog and I are in love."
5. Sorry honey, but I have to go overseas. In Europe they want to study my rare type of VD."
Ones I have heard:
Sorry, but my other boyfriend and I are in love. 😲
Sorry, but my 2 other boyfriends and I are in love. 😲 !!!
Sorry, but my lesbian lover, my boyfriend, and I, are all in love. -.- !!!!! [better be a joke, in which case that is not funny]
Sorry, but your best friend, a boyfriend I have that neither of you know about and I are in love. ..... [slap]
Sorry, but my husband and I are in love. !!!!!!!! [that better be a joke as well]
That's all the significant ones I can remember for now.

but then, is there a good way?
Depends if shes a stalker or not?
If you have seen her for a while or she has treated you with respect then a phone call or a letter is fair.
If however she is a stalker i.e follows you around when your out with your friends drinking or she changes the subject when you try to tell her something there only one way to get rid and thats to tell her to fu** off - tends to work!
good luck

I dumped a guy really nicelly (I thought it was a nice way anyway) I told him I'd had fun but I could tell it wasn't going to go any where and I wished him well.
I haven't ever been dumped but it can't be a nice thing. I've had mutual break ups where we both agreed that our futures were going different ways, and that's hard enough.
Edit- on second thouht perhaps that was me dumping them 😕 Oh well it's long ago now.
