How bizzare. I don't know what I'd charge her with, necrophilia I guess- but she sounds like she needs help, like mental help, not incarsiration- umm or maybe that too.

I think it would make more sense to go down the help route, laws are about keeping order in society and it is hard to imagine Necrophilia becoming popular enough to be an issue for anyone other than the perpetrator and the loved ones of the deceased.

Yes, it's been on the news here for the last couple of days - it's just bizarre. People keep surprising, don't they, new chocking things all the time.

Either you didn't read it properly, or you're paraphrasing inaccurately. She hasn't been charged with using dead bodies in a sex act, she's been charged with “violating the peace of the deceased.”

"However, the woman is accused of intimacy with skeletal parts, though only the licking of the skull is specifically referenced. The woman had pictures of morgues and cemeteries and reportedly sold skulls over the internet. Licking a skull would fall considerably short of necrophilia in most states." (quote is from a US blogger site)

"A WOMAN IN Sweden has been accused of necrophilia after investigators found some 100 skeleton parts in her apartment. The Swedish news agency TT cites prosecutor Kristina Ehrenborg-Staffas as saying that the 37-year-old woman is suspected of using the remains, which included six skulls and one backbone, in “sexual situations.”
The woman from southwestern Sweden was charged 'with violating the peace of the deceased' in Goteborg District Court on Tuesday." (quote is from an Irish newspaper site)

Seems to me that it's only the newspapers adding the word necrophilia to the headlines. More likely she's a morbid goth type who just licks skulls ...
