You should be able to bench your weight or more at least. I can bench 190 about 12 times, and weigh 155lbs.

Figures you're a weakling.

If you want to increase it, do as many push-ups as you can as often as you can, and eat nice balanced meals.

So basically I am a liar. Better not to post anything around here because of boomerang effect.

Are you speaking from experience? Some people have already been sent home from the Olympics in disgrace for abusing them.

I used to do power lifting fairly seriously and my best ever bench press was 110 kg. I weighed just under 65 kg at the time! It was the squats which made me give it all up, the pain was unbearable.

I quit because I kept dropping the soap in the shower. 😳

You don't need to believe me, but I used to be able to do 1,000 push-ups a day, this was back when I was taking Tae Kwon Do.... granted I only weighed about 130 at the time and was 23 years younger.

Do the push ups, as many as you can as often as you feel you can (don't hurt yourself, work towards a goal)

If you can do 10 now, do 8 every 2 or 3 hours.

Do lots of stretching.

Work in some pull ups so you don't get lop-sided in one area.

Work your legs with squats and such also, you don't want to get huge in the chest and arms and have skinny legs.

Good luck.
