ONLY?!?!?!?!?!?!??! do i now look really uneducated if i say i can only speak one language? i can just about manage a sentace in french, and i can vaguely understand russian, but i would hardly consider either of those "knowing" a language.

Don't worry about it. I spent a great deal of time in college learning those languages, and English is my first language. I am also not nearly as fluent as I would like to be in the French, German, and Spanish languages, and I still have difficulty with grammar and sentence structure.

Yes, ONLY?!?!?!?!?!?!??! four. My great uncle, for example, speaks 40 (sorry, I'm not sure which ones(including the four mentioned above)).

Well my father speaks 65 languages including moonish and martian. He works for the Government at Area 51 and talks to aliens. Sometimes he brings them home for dinner. They look funny.
