@Torunn saidYou're not wrong.
I still say, it is much more complicated than that. You don't have to be Christian to be a truly good person, and confessing to the Christian faith does not necessarily make you a better individual. We learn by observing the world around us and reading books that imposing a faith on others doesn't bring success. Swedes during the 19th century mainly emigrated to America becau ...[text shortened]... e first to condemn and punish and exclude and they only referred to Gods will when tragedies struck.
@Very-Rusty saidNot necessarily.
Appears like a thread better suited for the Spirituality Forum.

Touching as it does on the condition of the world, it could be argued to belong in Debates as well.
@Very-Rusty saidWho cares. I have no opinion on politicians.
I don't like him much like many other Canadians and Countries. Did you know they laugh at him???
Putin thinks he is a clown, did you hear about that? 😉

@Very-Rusty saidJust so.
Obviously it could go in either!!!
I don't imagine anyone here will come up with a solution no matter the forum!!!

@Rajk999 saidNeither do I just don't like a President trying to be Dictator!!!
Who cares. I have no opinion on politicians.

@Rajk999 saidI also think it's a personality flaw when someone pounds on Islam day in and day out, while giving a religion pushed by the worst people in America a pass, or even shoves it center-stage and an example we should all follow. Tell that to the people who SAY they follow it, yet clearly don't.
I think its a personality flaw when someone feels the need to bring in Trump, or any other politician/celebrity into a discussion without good reason.
@Very-Rusty saidHe's not a president, he's an imposter, a usurper.

@Ghost-of-a-Duke saidDid the perpetrators leave tracks in the butter?
Cheese has gone missing from my fridge.
Should I blame Trump?
But yes, be safe, blame Trump. There is a non-zero per cent chance he did it.
@Very-Rusty saidWe've known this since Helsinki.

@Suzianne saidCall him as you wish, He is President of the U.S. voted in by the U.S. people and doing his best to be a Dictator. You may find the rest of the world icing him out of trade eventually, everyone wants to trade with each other now.
He's not a president, he's an imposter, a usurper.
Even here in Canada we use to have tariff's between Provinces, they are disappearing which is a good thing that Trump did unknowingly of course.

@rookie54 saidDouble points for using "j'accuse".
you folks asked for it
plain and simple i heard it clear
a single jackleg stirs the pot
and you all give in to fear
fear of trump, fear of chess
fear of spinach in yer teeth
mix it all up with a dollop of religion
and j'accuse another of false belief
poets, priests, and politicians
use words for yer submission
(thank you sting, for all the fish)
Poets, priests and politicians
Have words to thank for their positions
Words that scream for your submission
And no one's jamming their transmission
When first I heard this, it blew my mind, the reality of it.
@Very-Rusty saidThe one great thing about Trump: He can always be used as a bad example.
