I saw a ghost too. Middle of the night I was awoken by my partner coming into the dark bedroom. I sat up and asked 'You OK?' as you walked past the foot of the bed. I guessed she had got up for a glass of water or something.
Then, something touched my leg! I turned around and there at my side was my partner. I turned and the figure at the foot of the bed was gone. Frightened the crap out of me.
Butin the morning did I believe in ghosts? Hell no, it was a dream, an hallucination, trick of the light ... but NOT a ghost!
Just because you 'see' something doesnt make it real! Use your mind too!
