Melted on the chip? Are they salted chips?
I have been eating roasted peanuts at my desk lately, but I wouldn't say it qualified as quirky.

    Yeah, very, very salty ones.

Not melted. Just take one and one, and munch them together. I've always been a
sucker for the sweet and savory mix.

    I wouldn't call peanuts quirky either 🙂

Cold hard-boiled free range eggs. I had 3 Old Cotswold Legbars yesterday, peeled, served whole with a separate seasoning dipping dish of ground black pepper and some sea salt. Delicious.

"Legbars" refers to part of the machinery in the agroindustrial unit that holds the pre-product in place while the post-product is induced using pharmaceuticals, after which the aforementioned pre-products (chickens) are allowed to run around 'free' on a steel tray for 5 minutes a day so that the post-products (eggs) can be referred to as "free range".

It's the name of the type of chicken that lays them.

The are readily available in the supermarket were we shop. According to the site I've linked, hens eggs are now considered a super-food.

This is a tagline invented by advertising copy writers. The true story takes too long to explain. 😛

Who would have thought there was a chicken breed called legbars. I wonder
if it is possible at all to get them here.

Has anyone ever tried to shake the egg before boiling it? They come out yellow.

I must try that one out 😵 Be right back!

P.S. I like blue cheese on top of ginger cookies, by the way.

If you are not trolling, I'm willing to try it. If you are, though, I'm willing to try it out as well.
