My Top 5 Meals

1 Italian style meatballs with tomato sauce over penne pasta (starter of buffalo mozzarella)
2 Fish ‘n Chips: neck end of cod, hyper-light batter, blanched chips not cooked through, mushy peas, slice of bread and butter for a chip butty on the side
3 English roast: turkey or beef, goose fat roasties, Brussels, parsnips, carrots, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, lashings of proper gravy, stuffing if turkey
4 Baked beans on toast, preferably will a poached egg on the side
5 Curry: Indian or Thai

On the bench: Moules marinière with cream, garlic and parsley, soft white baguette and a crisp white wine
