Agreed. Perhaps a time-based and/or game-based qualifier.

HOw about giving "valuable" members (non-sub) some privileges. This would a) recognise those who do contribute and
b) maybe give some incentive for those interested in said privileges to behave accordingly.
Of course there should be some criteria and the "honourary" membership should be not as tall as the subscriber one and should be retractable by Russ on short notice.

show me the money!
no need to start a cat fight.
I am at this moment trying to work out how much it is in euro.
But just because I have not paid yet does not reduce the amount of courtesy
and respect I deserve. I only arrived on October 31.

Show me where I have not been polite and courteous to you.
New arrivals usually take a while before they decide to pay, if they ever do. I think I lasted about 6 weeks before the ads, and the game number limit, started to annoy me. Some people play here for years and just tolerate the ads. You'll notice references to "non-sub scum" in these forums, particularly the General Forum where most of the fooling around goes on, but it doesn't mean anything, in fact I think it was a nonsub who invented it, it's merely an in-joke.
And by the way, I'm an old lady, with two cranky cats. I'm up to my ears in cat fights already ...

I like the site. It's a good one and as soon as i have figured out the exchange rate then I will pay. I am not sure but I think it works out at around 33 euro.
In the meantime if anyone shows me courtesy I will repay double.
I will welcome your wisdom and experience, and if you want to play me in the game I love I will welcome the challenge. I hope I prove a worthy opponent.
Obviously johnny longwoody is not my real name, but I am from Dublin Ireland.
Good to know you.

Exchange rates are freely available on the net.
Just type exchange rates into a search engine

Thanks.. I have worked it out and I have sent off my sub today by postal order.
Hope to hear from the administrators next week. I'm always available for a game.
I'm Irish though, don't know an awful lot about Yorkshire other than Leeds, Bradford, Freddie Truman, Sean Bean, Michael Parkinson and Jeremy Clarkson. Is Yorkshire the White Rose or the Red Rose? I can never remember that one.
