I know how to post a link to a game, but how do you post a link to a tournament or a clan?

But I would like to know how to make a fen-link.
How do I get the FEN-code? (Cut-and-paste, I imagine.) I can only get the FEN-code from the final position in a game, not a position in a earlier stage of the game. Do I have to construct it myself?
