Apparently we can only have 16 folders but I've got 15 (inc. inbox and archive) and can't create another. When I try to edit the name of an existing folder I get the 'sorry, you can't have more than 16 folders' error message. I'm using FireFox 1.0.7 on Mac OS X if that's relevent.
Why can't we have more than 16 folders also? I'm sorting games into opening moves and there are more than 16 variations...
Holy Moley does no-one else have this problem? Can someone else tell me if they can get 16 folders (inc inbox and archive) and then edit one of the folder names?

Could happen to me, too, because I have started sorting them that way as well. Of course now that I know there's a limit, I can adjust my system.
Thanks mate - let me know if you do get the same problem. Like I said I hit 15 but then couldn't change the names, a possible bug? Or me being dumb... 😞

Thanks for getting back to me Russ - it's not a huge problem so if it's going to cause hassle increasing the number of folders people have then don't worry about it. I'm sorting in terms of opening moves, so maybe somewhere in the region of 30 folders if that's not too much trouble?
I started sorting them that way, but learned of the 16 folder limit before getting close so I quit. Since the addition of the email function (very handy) I just sort my games in my personal database. Try chessbase light if you don't have anything else (it's free).
