My opponent has been on vacation, but has not made a move in 54 days on the 21 day ladder. Yet, because he is on vacation I cannot claim a win. A win isn't the point . . it's that I'm stuck for two months and can't challenge another player. He has long ago ran out of bank time. This doesn't seem right. Am I missing something?
@Frijole saidEventually his vacation time will expire and you will be able to claim the win.

Is he moving in any other game and just being awkward in your game?
If not he may have had an accident or something whilst on vacation.
@Frijole saidIt's a 21 day ladder... Be patient young grasshopper.

There has been the suggestion not to have vactions in hardcore tournaments, but the 21 to guys are normally very patient.

Thanks AUN . . . I'm being patient . . . just don't understand how it can be 54 days with a 21 day ladder. Even with a 30 day vacation, his time should have been up at 51 days. Not a big deal . . . just trying to understand. PS . . . thanks for referring to me as "young"! Ha . . . at 78 years and counting I still feel young. I play chess to try to keep my brain exercised!
