I thought I had a good answer to this on thread:http://www.redhotchess.com/board/showthread.php?threadid=40267

But everybody was such a dick about it that I gave up on explaining it to them. Have a look see, you may agree.

Mama, mama - my opponent is threatening me!

Really, petito Corleone? What did this british dandy say to my sicilian darling?

In the case I am using software during the match and win, he will invite me for a typical british dinner !!!!!

Oh my god, how awful - I will inform the admins right this moment!

So what he's saying is that he checked your moves with Fritz while the game was in progress?

Sounds like a job for the game mods.

I never did check his moves back with FRITZ. It was my feeling (and the experience of 20.000+ games on ICC and playchess before coming here) that he used software.

And by the way: a forum is the right place for things of public interest but not for tons of private messages. If everbody now starts to post here, that his opponent called him a "lame arse" (what Sicilian Smaug did among other nice words) then this will be soon a battle field.

I am a very experienced player as I mentionned above, I played 20.000+ games on ICC and playchess before joining here.
And I still believe in my argument: the likelniness that somebody rated RHP-1500 plays 10 moves identical with FRITZ is near 0 % (except the opening moves). So if somebody rated 1500 does so, then there is something wrong.

Cheating, cheating allegations and racism aren't welcome here, whether in PM or the forums.

Nor is verbal abuse.

And worst of all: the use of chess software. Cheating is the only thing what can ever stop internet chess because basically the web is perfect for chess.

But cheating is a serious problem: I know so many players> 2000 FIDE who dont play anymore time controls longer then 3/0 on ICC and this has only one reason: they want to be sure to play a human.
