The Phallus Rampant Award 2010 goes to shavixmir for managing to bring a child into this world [albeit only The Netherlands] despite the contraceptive effect of Sartor Resartus trying to sit on his face for most of the year.
The Whispering Death Award, as in 2009, goes to Melanerpes who, for all his amiableness and almost benign demeanour, dishes out lethal doses of common sense and good tempered reasonableness thread after thread.

Bit of an odd one, this. sh76 presumably DOES "know" he isn't a conservative Republican [even if the Award says he "doesn't"] seeing as he has never claimed to be one. Hasn't he always claimed to be more or less centre right and a moderate Republican.
The Humouring Wajoma Award 2010 goes to Teinosuke who, unlike KazetNagorra and kmax87, doesn't draw such mean comments and gratuitous insults from the Forum's resident peddler of Just One Idea.

From Wajoma's penultimate post in response to one of mine: "Ok that would be a ridiculous assertion even from you."
Would this qualify as a gratuitous insult? If so, I think I might have to decline the "Humouring Wajoma Award". I've never tried to humour him in any case.
Gosh, you do seem to know the population of this forum very well for someone who only joined in October. Anyone would think you'd been posting here for years and years!

he is in the american conservative clan and I thought (I may wrong) last year or so his profile page said he was a conservative republican. and i thought I asked him about it here many months ago and he clarified he was a "fiscal conservative". Last week he wished Mr. Pork barrel himself, Harry Reid "god speed"?!
Maybe its not a accurate award, I just cant figure him out.😕
