Christmas Chess Quiz (and other stuff)

Only Chess

Just pretend the questions came from a Christmas cracker....because they did!

A Crossword (using the same four players I always use.)

A Christmas Chess Poem (actually it has nothing to do with Christmas.)

One serious problem so I can legally us the term 'Quiz.'

A look at a wee error in the book that the ‘The Queens Gambit’ was taken from.
(and then RHP players playing the same mistake....maybe they read the book!)

An Aitken game where he sprung the Cambridge Springs Trap.
RHP stats on the Cambridge Springs trap and who sets it the most.

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Hi MontyMoose,

Wonderful things. BANG! and out comes hats, toys and jokes....awful jokes.

Thanks GP for an actual chess related post. Some fellow has been spoiling the chess forum with political posts. That's what the debate forum is for methinks.

Hmm ... accidentally ... hmm .... a better excuse would have been .... wait what since November (or earlier)?

If we need any of this that's what CNN or the debates forum is for.

Those with eyes, let them see.

Why one posts in the CHESS FORUM then says "they accidentally" posted a political post in here is beyond me (this is on multiple occasions spanning different months).

Each of those threads have got posters who responded which they shouldn't have done in the Chess forum.

@Duchess64:
"The mystery will be revealed on Boxing Day."

Even if I didn't like a present I got for Christmas, I would not fight someone about it. I thought the British were suppose to be polite?

Admin alerted to offending posts and they have been deleted. A picture says a thousand words.

The post that was quoted here has been removed
What you could try in those circumstances, rather than deleting the content, is to alert your own thread and see if the mods will move the thread to debates, which is technically possible. It's probably worth adding a post to that effect so people know you've done it.
