i think it's sad and dissapointing when a post receives comments that are either abusive, offensive or both. the majority of the time the posts on here are resonable statements or questions yet for some reason or another people feel the need to answer in a derogatory and bad-mannered tone; most of the time looking for cheap laughs. i appreciate the mods are doing all they can. i think rhp is a great site, well run and seen by most as a community, a group of people who love the game of chess, it's a pity the respect for the game can't be carried over into our posts. i'm not saying we should all share the same opinions or beliefs, but we can argue a point without having to attack the person directly; no doubt a few replies to this post will be offensive just to carry on in the cheap laughs tradition - enough please

Hi. If you've got a complaint please PM the mods with the specific examples and we'll act appropriately.

Thanks

Be careful - this one masquerades as friendly but is actually a wee bit of a tosser. πŸ™‚

In many ways, the RHP forums are a microcosm of life. They can be helpful, insulting, amusing, maddening, encouraging, frustrating, fascinating and boring. They can be cheap laughs and hurt feelings, they can be shining insights and priceless wisdom. Embrace them or shun them.. they are what they are.
