So the justice system as a whole is hearing your case. So regardless of who goes, it is still a hearing.
3. Because a TV show is current and ongoing, but a movie is seen as the past. eg. "He is ON the train" as apposed to "He was IN the train".

2. Cure has many definitions. Among them is to preserve food. Ham is preserved meat.
3. They wake up every 2 hours, but they sleep alot.
