... on current chess publications worth owning would be appreciated. Recently received several Barnes & Noble Christmas Gift Certificates I'd like to invest. Buddies have already suggested Seirawan "On Tactics", contemporary authors John Watson and John Nunn. Welcome any and all of your recommended authors and titles. Thanks.

The positional (I think that's what it's called) notation used in that book is taking me some getting used to... I'm struggling with visualization
