I don't want to accuse anyone of anything. That being said, I find it very strange when someone who is under 1000 plays like a 1600+ the whole game. Granted I did drop a piece in my gusto to get his King. But this guy defended astonishingly. If he is truly under 1000, then he doesn't belong there. I guess what I am getting at, is how do I know an engine isn't being used. It just seems suspect. I would also like to add that I am not complaining about losing, just this gives me pause...

I'd have to say that his play was rather good. He spotted many forks and played very well... it is very suspicious.
I don't see anything particularly good about his play. Lots of mistakes, some very basic errors. Not that either player has played particularly well in fact. Nothing supicious just 2 novices enjoying themselves (I hope).
My only response to that is, of course an Expert class player would call a provisional 1400 (on this site) a novice. My attack had a very defined purpose. I used the English, because I was hoping he would be unfamiliar with the lines. As I said, I dropped a knight going for his King (which I got back later), but that happens. Every line I threw at him he anticipated, and I think he did very well defending.

But your initial comments whilst not directly making an acquisation do make one and to be honest I see nothing supicious here.
Ok, then allow me to rephrase. His play raised "the question" (for me) as to whether the moves were his. It is very likely that he is indeed playing. My comment was geared towards his rating. I've never seen a 970 play that solidly. Though I'm not saying it doesn't happen.
The game in question Game 2856191 is full of tactical mistakes on both sides. There's no reason whatsoever to believe that either side had computer assistance or any other sort of illegal help.
The past 30 moves or so, I've been playing for a draw, and finally got one. I think the end game was well played by both sides. Definately made me work for the draw. Any who would like to offer analysis, would be greatly appreciated.
