Pointless. If I win most of those games then lose the odd one then my rating will just plummet.

I am good enough to beat 2000 plus players on here if I play to my potential ( I am curently rated at 2065 ELO OTB ).

Suspected of cheating for playing to my actual rating? Whatever.
This is what I'm talking about Game 2974231 You are losing games to 1400s and you want us to believe that you can start beating players over 2000 overnight? You have lost 772 times and your highest rating is 1583 meaning that players 1500-1700 are at your level.

I'm sorry but it doesn't need Einstein to figure out that if you beat 4 players 1500-1700 and gained 16 points in each game, what your rating would be after that. You could then go on to beat the next 4 1700-1900 and it would be easier to "swallow" your progress.

However now you would have a hard time convincing anyone that with 770 odd defeats to 1400-1500 players you are "suddenly" capable of beating 2000-2200s

Out of curiosity what is your rating at PlayChess?

I don't see what is so bad deleting a game that you accepted.. if you have a reason, why not? There is a feature for it.

I agree with you here. If you accept a game then realise you can't play for some reason, it's useful to be able to delete it.

I am talking about a deliberate attempt to mess someone about - like accepting all the games then deleting all of them within seconds.

Maybe you shouldn't accept them in the first place if you have reason to delete them.

I did not speak about people who deliberately accept games just to delete them.

Perhaps those who are deleting them feel that the OP is abusing them - how do you lose nearly 800 games to 1400-1500 players and then think that you can beat 2000-2200s overnight?

Isn't that a mockery?

I have lost 772 times, true.

A lot of these were by timeout as I was not active here for a few months once or twice.

And a lot were due to playing too many games at once and playing too quickly.

I can beat 2000 + players. Why do i say this? As stated before my OTB rating is 2065. If I play to this potential - by playing fewer games and playing harder and concentrating more ( playing slower ) - I will win games at a higher level.

My rating here has been close to 1800 before btw as well.

Nice quote of a game I lost to a 1400.

It happens you know, we all make mistakes and play poorly on occasion. The fact that I played and lost to a 1400 doesn't mean I am not able to get to 2000 on here nor does it mean I am not playing at thta level ona regular basis OTB.

My rating at PlayChess?

I don't play there.

How am I abusing them by offering them a game???

If they want to play me, then they can play me. If not, no one is forcing them to.

Read my previous posts - I am rated 2065 OTB - that is why I beleive I can beat 2000's on here IF I PLAY TO MY POTENTIAL. Anywa, that's not what this thread is about.

It's about people who accept then delete invites deliberately.

What kind of an accent are you trying to imitate??

I WILL carry on as I am doing.

And if I don't reach 2000 then I will be DA LOSER

And if I do...then you will be DA LOSER lol

I just deleted an open invite. Seconds after it started.

Of course I was the one who put the game up with these specifications:

Subs only/e4 players please thanks.

So a high rated non sub accepts it and plays d4.

I'm trying to work on the french!

So I put him on ignore.

Ha!

I was trying to do a PORK PIE accent in (http://www.phill.co.uk/comedy/desmond/) seeing that you have elephant skin to how to progress in an "acceptable manner".
