Just a quick one from me. Looking back I feel that it was wrong for me to have named those that had annoyed / harrassed me - I was higly annoyed, but still wasn't the best bway to go about it.. So apologies to the 3 individuals concerned.

This apology is made of my own accord and has not been forced upon me by Admin.

Feel free to contuniue discussing the issue though, but from now on we should keep names out of it, except mine - you all know who I am!!

I just deleted one a moment ago. I felt a bit guilty about it, but I'm afraid it was inevitable: I accepted an invitation to play as Black then when checking my opponent's opening choices noticed that he was an unwavering Colle player. I hesitated a little, then decided that even if you don't accept the old adage that life's too short for chess, it's certainly too damned short to waste it playing against the bloody Colle.

I just challenged Frantic (1712) after he/she put up an open invite challenge for a "fast game".
I was playing black & he opened 1.e4 to which I replied 1...c5 & Frantic immediately deleted the game. I'm only mid 1500's so I find this strange as the Sicilian is statistically the most common reply to 1.e4.
Why not simply put "1...e5 responses only" or whatever in the game title so players like this can use their pet openings without seeming to be rude? 😕

I have been posting quite a few open invites of late - all name Mission 2000 - as I try and get my rating up to that level.

Not that many invites, normally no more than 5 or 6 at a time so i don't hog the invites screen.

Now o ...[text shortened]... e or message me and say OOPS SORRY< GOING TO DELETE IT.

Common courtesy.

Frantic sets up loads of open invites then deletes them when people don't play as he would like them too. Leave the fool to it.

.....Or accept his open invites constantly until he puts you on his ignore list like me!
