I have played nearly all of them, but I always returned to the Nimzo Indian as I find it to be the soundest of them all as well as offering endless tactical possibilities. On 3. Nf3 to avoid the Nimzo Indian you may opt for the Bogo-Indian (3.. Bb4+) instead of playing the Queen's indian, it often gets you into interesting positions.
