Here's a game that I just finished, I thought it was quite interesting with a nice finish. I've included some quick annotations, I may expand upon them tomorrow.
Game 3128251
[Event "July 06 7/14 Banded 1300-1500"]
[Site "http://www.playtheimmortalgame"]
[Date "2007.02.05"]
[Round "2"]
[White "Legends"]
[Black "cmsMaster"]
[Result "0-1"]
[ECO "B02"]
[Annotator "CMSMaster"]
[PlyCount "62"]
[EventDate "2007.??.??"]
1. e4 Nf6 {Alekhine's Defense, which I use only on rare occassion.}
2. Nc3 {Avoiding the mainlines, and usually transposing to the Scandinavian.}
d5 3. f3{?! Not a very strong move, white should take the pawn.}
e5 4. d3 d4 5. Nce2 {Black has a nice space advantage and a lead in development. By looking at the
pawn directions it is clear that black's play will be on the queenside,
white's on the kingside.}
c5 6. Bg5 Be7 7. h4 Nc6 8. c3 {I prefer Nh3, with ideas of g4, Ng3, Be2 and a kingside attack, instead of c3 which seems far too slow, and really not where white should be playing.}
Be6 9. Qd2 Rb8 {Preparing a queenside pawn push.} 10. c4 Nd7 11. Bxe7 Qxe7 12. Ng3 {I think white should have moved g4 first, with a closed center white could keep his king safely in the center and attack on the kingside with his pawns.}
Nf6 13. Be2 O-O {I was a little annoyed with myself for making this move, an immediate b5 seems more to the point.}
14. h5 b5 15. cxb5 Rxb5 16. b3 Rfb8 {Putting pressure on the half open b file.}
17. h6 g6 {! of course not exchanging, thus keeping things closed up on the kingside.}
18.Nh3 Bxh3 19. gxh3 Nh5 20. Nxh5 Qh4+ 21. Kd1 {? Kf1 was a safer move for white.}
Qxh5 22. Kc2 Qh4 23. Rag1 Qf6 24. Rf1 {? This move seems very inaccurate - I don't actually see the purpose behind it.} Qe6
25. Rb1 Nb4+ 26. Kb2 Nxa2 {!} 27. Kxa2 Rxb3 28. Rxb3 Qxb3+ 29. Ka1 Rb6
30. Rf1 Ra6+ 31. Qa2 Qxa2# 0-1

wow that was interesting. cms, you should post games like that everyday so we can bask in your great knowledge and wisdom. oh wait, you already do. nevermind.
Go ahead, 'Hammster' (you have such a cute name! Hammster! Oh goody!), why don't you post one of your awful crapfests?
Originally posted by leisurelyslothI have nothing against people posting games, i just dislike it when they are of low quality....
Well... ..it is a chess forum... ..and they are chess games. Why would this be an offense? 😕
and its even worse when people post these low quality games to try and demonstrate advanced concepts*
this one had a pretty finish, but really it was lost by (albeit difficualt to see) blunder
.....
*of course this is a double standard!
cms, all i ask is that when you post some of your games, try to make it so people can learn something from it. I want to look through the games you post here and say, wow, he sure knew how to use his bishop to overpower his opponents knight.
Show off a game where you used your chess knowledge to win what may have been a drawn game. I'll show you what i mean, later I'll post a game that hopefully is both interesting and insightful. When you post games like this and you get three replies about it, then it must have not been that interesting of a game.

Originally posted by ShinidokiWhat are you calling the blunder in this game? I gained a small advantage and it gradually grew as the game continued, I had Fritz annotate it and neither side had any "??" moves - which is what should rightfully be called a blunder.
