I know I won this game only because my opponent made a fatal error by letting me do 9.Bf7 but I'm curious to hear what you think of my endgame as a nice amount of moves were forced. Also, was my opening any good, because I doubt if it was smart to wait so long with the DeMorra-gambit.
Keep in mind I'm still a beginner though, because I'm sure there might have been some errors in the whole game.

I thought you played well...good idea to sacrifice to gain position for the mate.

Interesting way to play a Morra Gambit but 6. Nf3g5 was a mistake that should have been punished.

I made this move to escape a Ruy Lopez. what other move would be better than? I had a hard time with that one

Meener, how do you know so much and still have such a low rating? I have never heard of the Meener gambit or wtvr, and don't understand what you mean about escaping a Ruy Lopez. It seems like you should be much better than me, and probably even better than that, but your rating doesn't show it?

What Ruy Lopez? DeMorra?

I made a mistake: it wasn't a Ruy Lopez but it was a setting that looked like it. I feared he would try Bg4 and thus pinning my knight. The Ruy Lopez is different, I know, because it pins the knight against a king, bu they look much alike.
Is there anonther name for this thing? And did I ever mention a Meneer Gambit?

The morra gambit should be made illegal to play. Play the Sicilian properly, don't hide behind some gambit.

I felt so uncomfortable the whole time. But I'm doing my preparation now and the next time i'll face this gambit I hope to be a little more of a challenge. I played horribly and Dries did what he had to do. But next time I'll getcha!!! 😛

isn't this gambit made to bring people who like the sicilian out of balance and thus not lame, but smart?

Actually I have a question too: what would be 'playing the sicilian coorectly'?

The Sicilian is played by automatons who like to digest reams of theory, heaven forfend that someone would sidestep your memorized variations and actually just play chess against you.

well said.
Sometimes I too wonder where the line between playing chess and reproducing known games is

in another game I've thought up this line to defend your French defense. It lets you win back the knight anyhow and you might even be able to stop the other one from castling or win his rook. Afterwars I screwed up by wanting to be too fast, but I was wondering how bad this opening lines are?
