I have read in this post that if you make obscure tactical decisions or go for the wrong pieces, you will be banned for engine use? I do not understand? Should I not contemplate the game out for 15 or 16 moves for fear that I might be too "obscure" to be a human?
Oh no, wait a minute - when asked how many moves ahead he looked when analysing Capa said "1 move, the best one".

Originally posted by JaeHoonIf you're not using an engine you won't get banned, it's as simple as that. Some wise ass will no doubt jump in after this post and say 'how do you know'. Well, to that i say this, find me someone who has been banned unfairly and we'll talk, other wise just get on with it.

Seriously???
The O.P looks 15/16 moves deep! How often is that? In openings or middlegames or what?
😲

Maybe in general, forcing lines I look 4 to 5 but that's it.
Like I said before 15/16 is either Deep Blue or Deep Cack!

only a layman or rank beginner would think playing strong chess was about seeing 16 moves deep.
