I analyze what move they would make if they were trying to see four full moves ahead, and I try to do this from their point of view.

I know this is a circular paradox, but it just works.

Unless the moves are mostly forced, you don't see 16 moves ahead. Nobody does. Sell it somewhere else.

But even 16 ply is pushing it.
