One of the highest level chess game on this site is probably that Weierstras win against Aikizy, isn't it ?

In the latter game, why not 24 Rg8+! The rook is protected by the bishop and the king is checked by the other bishop. White wins a rook!

Oh well. Hindsight is always 20/20 and white wins anyway.

Why win a rook when you can mate right away? And on top of that the mating position is very pleasing.
