instead of 17...g6 maybe 17...f6 or 17...Ne5 would have been better. It seems that the only reason you lost is because you created such a weak dark-squared complex infront of your king. Maybe you should watch out for making those weaking pawn moves and try to look for alternatives to them?

It makes you wonder how many 2200 plus or undefeated and rising players are real.

I am sure the majority of players here are but it appears not all the highly rated ones.
