I wanna get My 60 memorable games but the price tag of $60 U.S. and up is a little too steep for my pocket book. Bobby Fischer rediscovered is about 1/4 the price is it really that big of a downgrade to my 60 Memorable Games?

Im planing on scanning the book i have, on pdf. and sell my book for whatever i can get. I had an first edition, first printing, and sold i too cheap. theres several editions out there, including softcovers.
I would like to have it with algerbraic, instead of descriptive.
You could always use a database to play out the moves, and read from the book for the annotations.
I read a few games from the book, and put it down. Would like to read it competely one day.
I heard Kasparov read it when he was young, cover to cover.
Maybe reading his "my great predacessors" on fischer is better reading

Not having read either book, if I were in your shoes, I'd try to find a reasonably priced copy of My 60 Memorable Games (MSMG). (Don't get the later 1995 Batsford edition, edited by John Nunn. They changed and hacked up the analysis.)
Failing that, based on the reviews I've read, I'd get the Bobby Fischer Rediscovered (BFR) book. That is, assuming that you want a book with decent annotations. BFR only has 23 of the 60 games from MSMG, but it has other games too. (100 total games, I think.) And based on the reviews, Soltis didn't do a bad job. Just my two cents worth. 🙂
