yes i fancy arkell aswell.Also kolbus should be eligible for the title otherwise why should he be allowed to enter but i think nigel davies will beat him anyways 🙂......

Yeah, I noticed they got that game up. I am not sure the moves were totally correct though - either that or 16...NxQ was possible and got missed.

Good idea, playing such an obscure opening against a kid - at least then you are playing against their actual ability rather then the reems of theory they have memorised.

Looks like Conquest and Arkell will have to book an extra night at the hotel - I am glad he was so tenacious, Lalic and Gordon seemed to pussy out with draws and let Conquest win without a fight.

Arkell looks to be in BIG trouble now.

Conquest totally misplayed it. Still winning of course ... but I hope he's not going to choke it. 2 mins down on the clock now.

I've just rememberd it's fischer time control not all in 20. Should make it easier for Conquest to finish off.
